About Potty Training Secrets
When my wife and I had to potty train our 2.5 year old boy a couple of months ago we had no idea what a messy, frustrating process it could be. We had a deadline, because he was going to join a new nursery in our neighborhood and they did not accept children who were not potty training.
We started potty training about 2 weeks before the scheduled date and didn’t think of doing proper research beforehand. We chatted to other parents in the family to get a rough idea of what to expect and proceeded with the “Naked and $75″ potty training method. This method worked in the end, but it took 7 days before he started using the potty himself and in those 7 days we probably had about 30 accidents throughout the house.
It is almost time to potty train our second child now and this time I decided to do some research. I was very interested to learn about at least 2 or 3 methods that I wasn’t aware of and I was particularly interested in Dr. Phil’s method. I decided to start this website and share the information that I gather and hopefully help other parents in the process.
